Overview
Corballis Links combines about a century of heritage with the coastal views of north County Dublin. It is a par-66 links on the Donabate Peninsula, fully open year-round, and includes coastal holes designed by Ron Kirby. The club promises coastal winds and tight fairways, and says the scenery rivals the challenge.
The course is short but varied: from the club's hole-by-hole guide the front nine adds up to 2,142 yards and the back nine to 2,662 yards, a total of 4,804 yards. There are seven par 3s and ten par 4s plus one par 5, the 496-yard 12th, with the longest par 4 at 456 yards (the 3rd). The 2nd (249 yards), 7th (260 yards) and 11th (253 yards) are short par 4s that big hitters may drive, while the 9th is a par 3 over water and the 14th has a beach lining the right of the fairway.
Midweek rounds from Monday to Friday start at €27.50, weekend rounds at €35, and open competitions at €30. Hire is available too: carts €35, electric or pull trolleys €15, caddies from €65 and a set of clubs €45.
The clubhouse has changing rooms, a pro shop and a simple food offering of coffee, sandwiches and light bites.
