Overview
Golf Club Brigels sits on the Tschuppina plateau at about 1,300 metres above sea level in the Surselva valley of Graubünden. Architect Mario Verdieri shaped the course with the natural terrain, so the round is interestingly hilly but never tiring, with a sweeping panorama of the surrounding mountains.
The main course has nine holes and a par of 36. There is also a 3-hole course, the Tiger Park for children, and a driving range with putting and chipping greens. That makes it a good place for newcomers and families as well as experienced golfers on holiday in the Swiss Alps.
The club's academy, led by pro Thomas Mondani, offers one-hour taster lessons from CHF 15, private lessons from CHF 50, and full courses leading to the Platzreife permit. It also runs golf trips. Rental gear is available on site, from a three-club set for CHF 10 to pull trolleys, electric trolleys and electric carts.
The Ustria Tschuppina restaurant sits right by the course and serves Graubünden hospitality from Thursday to Monday, 09:00 to 17:00. In the evening, the Golfer Lounge at Casa Fausta Capaul in the village opens from 17:30 with snacks and golf on TV.
