Overview
Daiman 18 Golf Club is a well-known public golf course in Johor Bahru, run by the Daiman Development group as part of its sports and recreation arm. It sits in the green township of Johor Jaya along the Pasir Gudang–Johor Bahru Highway, and it promotes itself as a relaxed, affordable place for a round in a comfortable countryside setting.
The course appeals to both local players and visitors from abroad. Pricing is simple to plan around: weekday mornings, weekday afternoons and weekend sessions each have their own rate, with 18-hole and 9-hole options and most prices including a buggy. Malaysian MyKad holders get a lower weekend rate, and seniors, ladies and juniors have their own weekday prices.
The clubhouse has changing rooms, function rooms, an event hall that can be hired and a popular Chinese restaurant. A newer 16-bay driving range is open every day from early morning until late evening, which makes it easy to practise after work, with 100 balls costing RM12.
Regular players can buy a season pass, which fixes green fees on weekdays and weekends with no monthly subscription, and gives special rates for club tournaments. Members also have reciprocal arrangements with other Malaysian clubs, including Permaipura Golf & Country Club in Kedah and Villea Rompin Resort & Golf in Pahang.
